Art has always been my alchemy!
Long before I called myself an artist, I was a seeker and speaker of truth—A REBEL!
My journey began in the powerful catalytic world of poetry: learning to listen beneath the noise, finding meaning in the all the cracks, and holding beauty and heartbreak with an open heart. That journey evolved, and now I tell those stories through visual art as well as words! My work explores identity, ancestry, transformation, and the sacred journey of becoming fully and authentically ourselves. Each piece is an invitation to pause, go inward, and to remember who we are beneath the masks that this world tells us to wear, what we carry from those who came before us, and what has always been the truth within us! I create for the Rebels, the Dreamers, the Truth Seekers, and the Cycle-Breakers—for the ones who have never quite belonged in the spaces that they were told to fit into- because this world teaches us to shrink, but The SOUL calls us to EXPAND!
Art, to me, is more than something we look at. It is a mirror, a window, a portal—a reminder of everything that we already know deep within us. Whether through a poem, a painting, on stage, or a gathering, my intention always remains the same: to illuminate, to provoke, to awaken the remembrance to
return us to ourselves because that is the most beautiful REBELLION of all!
 Always & Forever,
THE REBEL POET

A Rebel Is Born, is the powerful debut poetry album by Rebel Poet — a Spanglish love letter to her Colombian roots, her journey, and her becoming.
Through four poetic pieces, Rebel, aka La Hija Rebelde, traces her journey from the rhythm of loud large family gatherings, dancing to classic salsa lyrics sung by heart, the legendary wisdom of the epic chronicles of her, Mita, to becoming Rebel Poet, Diosa de Amor, Mujer Divina, and Alma del Universo!
This is an origin story, raw, rhythmic, and rooted -
This is how a Rebel is born!
